Best Practices for Writing Policies for Lisa

If you're an AppFolio customer, you can change your Lisa policies in the AppFolio Property Management system under the Lisa Settings tab.

Lisa remembers property information to report to prospects. You can always update her by messaging directly.

She uses partially-automated market testing to optimize her language for conversion. So, it may take up to 24 hours for any changes to go live. You can accelerate the update:

  • Write brief answers in correctly spelled, complete sentences.
  • Don't use second person: not "your dog." Instead say "we require..." or "we allow..."
  • If you require a specific credit score, say it.
  • If something costs extra, say how much or give a range.
