When Does Lisa Check with Agents? When Does She Suggest a Visit to Find Out?

Lisa learns from what you tell her and what prospects tell her, but she verifies it with agents and bosses. If prospects ask her something she doesn’t know, she’ll encourage them to visit to see if the property suits them. If they have a pressing need to know before they visit, she’ll check with an agent.  These are the sorts of things Lisa will check with agents about:

  • Office closures reported by prospects,
  • Pet policies,
  • The floor of available units,
  • Amenities not mentioned on the website,
  • Special qualification situations,
  • Handicapped accessibility,
  • Missed appointments and scheduling problems, and
  • Contradictory information in her notes.
Lisa distinguishes what prospects need from what prospects want. If they need an accessible apartment, she'll check with an agent. If they want crown moulding, she'll tell them to visit.
