What is Interactive Voice Response (IVR)? How Does It Work?
Lisa by Dynasty provides an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. An IVR automatically answers and routes phone calls. It follows this script:
- A resident or lead calls in.
- The phone is answered with “Thanks for calling ... If you're interested in leasing one of our apartments, please press 1. If you're a current resident, please press 2. If you're a vendor, please press 3.”
- The lead presses 1 and if the caller is using an SMS-capable device like a mobile phone, the conversation is forwarded to Lisa.
- If they push 2 or 3, or their phone can’t text, the call forwards to your office. For single-family residence (SFR) properties, this will be your firm’s office number. For multifamily (MF) properties, this is the main leasing office.
For multifamily (MF) properties, Lisa will give the name of your property.
